About

 YES? NO? MAYBE...

Yes No? Maybe is a brand of hand-made prints on paper and textiles.

YNM gathers inspiration from both botanical elements and the artists personal history. The designs are showing a vivid range of bold colors and strong shapes on scarfs mostly on cotton, linen, wool and silk.

Annette Rosen believes that art and design can bridge cultural and social differences.

The flower design scarf
is based on a Bergoss upholstery, seen as wallpaper in the National Holocaust Museum Amsterdam.
Until WW2, Bergoss was a textile factory located in Oss, owned by a Jewish family, well known for their carpet productions. While creating this scarf, the artist incorporated new vibrant color schemes for this historic print.

The blue & white striped scarf
is based on the artist’s installation at the NHm, a homage to the memory of her Jewish Dutch family. The added orange color gives place for hope, adding a vibrant Dutch Touch to the well-known striped motif.
